Disk Diffusion (Kirby-Bauer): an antibiotic disk is placed on an agar plate seeded with the bacteria. Measure the clear zone around the disk in mm. A larger zone means the organism is more susceptible.

MIC (Minimum Inhibitory Concentration): the lowest antibiotic concentration that stops visible growth, in µg/mL. A lower MIC means the organism is more susceptible.

CLSI breakpoints convert either value into S (Susceptible), I (Intermediate), SDD (Susceptible-Dose Dependent) or R (Resistant).
